Architectural Assistant (Part I)

James is an architectural assistant at HTA, having joined the practice in October 2023. He works primarily across RIBA Stages 1–3 on a range of projects, including PBSA, affordable housing, social housing, and Build to Rent schemes. Alongside his role at HTA, he is currently enrolled in the MArch Collaborative Practice course at the University of Sheffield, allowing him to combine academic research with practical experience in the studio.
James has particular expertise in 3D modelling, visualisation, AI-assisted design workflows, and design thinking. He brings strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project teams. Passionate about creating great places to live, James is committed to delivering homes that people can be proud of—both inside and out.
