Jamie Doak
Senior Architect

Having joined HTA in 2013, Jamie has extensive experience across a range of building typologies and workstages. A recent and significant example of his residential design and delivery experience is the Ravensbury Estate in Merton where he has overseen our team at all work stages from initial consultation to construction to deliver 179 new homes, 60% of which are affordable.

Jamie’s full workstage experience is a vital tool in informing the vision for the places we design, ensuring our work is both aspirational and commercially viable. Jamie has a key interest in social housing. The projects he is involved with explore ways in which councils can deliver on their housing targets, without loosing the key elements of joy, beauty and good health that architecture can bring to people’s lives.

As an adept problem solver, Jamie is skilled in the intricacies of delivering infill housing programmes for urban estates, having worked on the six simultaneous planning applications required to deliver the Croydon Small Sites programme for Brick by Brick. His continued work on the tender package for this project emphasised the use similar components across numerous sites to achieve build efficiencies and cost savings for the client.
