After graduating from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a Masters in Architecture, Katie joined HTA’s Edinburgh office in 2018 as a Part II Architectural Assistant, before qualifying as an Architect in 2022.
During her time at HTA, Katie has been a key team member working on a range of projects, including mixed-use masterplans, large build-to-rent blocks, and social housing schemes. Katie’s role is to support the Project Architect through specific elements of the design, coordinating with external consultants, and undertaking project administration duties. Katie has occasionally held the role of Project Architect smaller scale roles such as a Design Book for a new Modular Manufacturer.
Whilst at university, Katie co-authored a paper, ‘Aviemore: Dude, where’s my town centre?’ which was published at the 5th International architecture and civil engineering annual conference (ACE 2017) in Singapore.
