Lara De Villiers
Architect

Lara is a core member of HTA’s modular and tall buildings team. She rejoined the practice in 2020 following completion of her masters at the Royal College of Art. Her experience ranges from pre-planning to delivery stages across the residential sector with a focus on delivering large-scale, mixed-use schemes through modular construction.  This is supported by wider knowledge in BTR, co-living, student accommodation, and estate regeneration.

Collaborating effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, both internally and externally, Lara has played a part in several successful student and co-living schemes.  Her approach to creative problem solving enables her to work within challenging urban sites, driving high-quality architecture, alongside commercial value.

Lara’s is interested in how the built environment impacts the everyday of people’s lives and she is committed to designing exemplar homes.
