Martha Hiles
Architect

Martha is an Architect who joined HTA in 2022. Since joining the studio, she has focused primarily on large scale estate regeneration projects and build-to-rent projects in London, between stages 0-3.

Martha has ample experience at multiple scales, having undertaken a variety of roles such as co-ordination lead for a sitewide collaborative masterplan between multiple practices in Southwark. She has also taken a lead role in the design of an individual block within a wider masterplan in Enfield.

Martha is passionate about social housing, community engagement and sustainable design. She has taken part in a straw bale build in Barnet to further her knowledge of sustainable building technologies, as well as working on the People’s Pavilion. She has been an active participant within the Women in Architecture Mentoring scheme and continues to further her mentoring capabilities within the practice. Outside of her practice work Martha acts as a guest tutor at Manchester School of Architecture.
