Michelle joined the HTA Sustainable Futures Team after graduating with a first-class honours from the University of Nottingham with an Integrated Master’s in Architecture and Environmental Design [MEng] [CIBSE] [RIBA].
Throughout her studies Michelle became passionate in the endeavour to integrate environmental solutions in her studio work. Her experience as a Part 1 architectural Assistant and knowledge from engineering modules compliments the interdisciplinary approach at HTA and helps to foster an iterative design process through close collaboration with the architecture team to inform sustainable solutions that are integrated into the design at an early stage and optimised throughout the design process.
Michelle’s role as a Junior Building Physics and Sustainability Consultant consists of high-level testing during concept design, and detailed assessments at planning stage of overheating, daylight and energy assessments.
