Patrick is a senior architect within the HTA architecture team. Patrick and a team are providing post planning services for Wood Wharf B2, a 22 storey serviced apartment building in Canary Wharf.

The building is complex and exciting having many unique challenges due to its location and construction. Wood Wharf B2 is a hybrid construction of concrete frame and modular construction and has involved collaborating with a large team. This is a rewarding process and working with HTA’s landscape team there is a focus on placemaking so that the design is grounded in its context and will grow with the surroundings.

Patrick brings to HTA over 15 years experience working for architectural practices within the residential sector. This has included working for residential specialist in London and having a senior role within the residential team of a large commercial architectural practice.

Patrick’s experience includes one-off houses, residential masterplaning and large scale regeneration projects. Most recently this has been focussed on the design and delivery of mixed use, residential led projects in London.

Patrick has run complex projects across all RIBA stages of work with clients ranging from private developers and house-builders to registered providers and local authorities.

Patrick believes in a collaborative approach to design and enjoys working with other designers, consultants and clients from concept to completion. He has an in-depth knowledge of the financial constraints that inform architecture as well as a detailed knowledge of the planning process, building regulation and warranty provider requirements for high density mixed tenure housing.

Prior to working on Wood Wharf B2, Patrick has been leading a team providing post planning services for a series of connected apartment buildings in London ranging is scale from 6 to 22 storeys for St George City Limited.

Patrick is currently leading the post planning team on Wood Wharf B2 for Canary Wharf Contractors Limited. This is an exciting and complex project that involves the coordination of a large consultant team on an accelerated programme.
