Architectural Assistant Part II

Phil is a Part II Architectural Assistant who is passionate for designing high-quality architecture, that seeks to improve inhabitant’s health, wellbeing and quality of life.

Prior to HTA, Phil completed his Part l at the Plymouth University and his Part II at the University of West England. His knowledge is not solely grounded in conventional practice, having spent time as a steel fabricator which instilled an understanding of process, communication and materials qualities.

Working on projects throughout the south of England, Phil has been fortunate to be heavily involved with Tower and Ashbourne House in Slough, Croydon Smaller Sites Programme, Romney house in Bristol, and currently Wensley Road in Reading.

Currently, Phil has been assisting the completion of the tender stage for the Wensley Road infill estate regeneration in Reading, which is seeking to provide new houses, flats, and communal green spaces for both the prospective and existing residents. Phil has been heavily involved from the initial concept design through to the current tender package, he has worked with HTA team members, the residents - through consultation events - and the partners to ensure the production of a high quality and well-presented scheme.
