Stephanie Smith
Studio Lead (Australia)

Stephanie Smith joined HTA at the beginning of 2025 as the first member and Studio Lead of our new Sydney base. With more than 30 years’ experience leading major architecture, development, and construction teams in Australia, Stephanie brings deep local knowledge and design leadership. Her recent work has focused on award-winning multi-residential and mixed-use schemes, alongside research into Indigenous housing and sustainable timber prefabrication. Since joining in early 2025, she’s been working closely with our UK team to build expertise in volumetric modular construction and support Freecity in shaping a new model for housing delivery in Australia.
