Evan Hall

Architectural Assistant (Part I)

BA (Hons) Architecture

Evan joined HTA in July 2024 where he works within the Place Craft Team, specialising in low to medium-rise projects in urban peripheries.

Evan is passionate about the ability for good quality housing to bring people closer together and provide much-needed support to communities nationwide. During his undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge, Evan’s research grew from lived experience into a dissertation exploring the importance of the unprescribed domestic interior as a key to our connective social infrastructures. This formed the backbone of his studio project in final year entitled “[Re]New Town,” a social and environmental retrofit densification project in Monkswood, Stevenage.

Evan also believes in the need for architecture to be amore accessible discipline. He volunteers his time to Open City Accelerate and recently led a model-making workshop through the programme. Evan champions HTA’s studio culture by organising informal social events, such as cross-practice softball matches, that facilitate intermingling of teams and offer junior staff the opportunity to meet peers from across the industry.

As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant Evan and looks forward to growing at the forefront of housing and place design in the country.
