BA (Hons) Architecture Space & Objects
Nilab began working at HTA in May 2017. Prior to this, Nilab studied at Central Saint Martins, where she won a competition to design a store for Sephora in Paris. She has worked on a range of projects, but is particularly interested in community engagement and activating spaces through temporary means of intervention.
Before HTA, Nilab worked at GLS Architects, a commercial and residential practice based in Docklands, London. During her time as a Junior Architectural Assistant, she prepared competition entries for London Zoo's Elephant House and drafted drawings for a number of residential schemes.
While at HTA she has worked on a residential project in Gants Hill, where she produced models and assisted with diagrams and design work.
Nilab is currently in Simon Bayliss's team and she is working on the Winstanley and York Road Estate regeneration, mainly focusing on the meanwhile uses and community involvement.
