Stefanos Sampaziotis

Stefanos graduated from the University of Patras, holding a Diploma in Architecture. Seeing architecture and landscape as totally interlinked, he completed his Masters in Landscape Architecture with Distinction at the University of Sheffield. He has a strong architectural background including participations in various international competitions and academic research on participatory design processes.

Stefanos has been involved in a range of projects in HTA, from the pre-planning stages to tendering and implementation. He has developed an open design approach working on different tasks such as forming landscape design strategies, preparation of production information packages and collaboration with consultants and stakeholders from various disciplines.

He has also good knowledge of the BIM process and its importance for the profession.

Stefanos has previously worked for BD Landscape Architects, where he developed experience on public realm regeneration, educational projects and residential developments, being involved on schemes like the Kings Pond Club in London, the Newcastle University's Urban Sciences Building and the Old Vinyl Factory development in Hayes.

Stefanos has got involved in the construction and site stages for the restoration of the Water Gardens in Hemel Hempstead, originally designed by Geoffrey Jellicoe. He has also worked on the preparation of the planning application for a mixed-use neighbourhood at the former GSK Site in Greenford. Stefanos has also worked on the tender and construction stages for the residential-led development in South Quay Plaza in the Isle of Dogs.

Stefanos is currently working on a planning application for the re-development of the Hathersage and Besant Estate in Newington. He is also involved in the preparation of production information for a residential development in Stonebridge.
