Stefanos Sampaziotis

Stefanos graduated from the University of Patras, holding a Diploma in Architecture. Seeing architecture and landscape as totally interlinked, he completed his master’s in landscape architecture with Distinction at the University of Sheffield. He has a strong architectural background including participations in various international competitions and academic research on participatory design processes.

Working at HTA, Stefanos has been involved in a range of projects in HTA, from the pre-planning stages to tendering and implementation. He has developed an open design approach working on various tasks including preparation of production information packages, 3D visualisation and involvement in forming landscape design strategies.

Having extensive experience in the BIM process, Stefanos is HTA Landscape's BIM specialist leading the team on projects requiring BIM implementation.

Stefanos has previously worked for BD Landscape Architects, where he developed experience on public realm regeneration, educational projects and residential developments, being involved on schemes like the Kings Pond Club in London, the Newcastle University's Urban Sciences Building and the Old Vinyl Factory development in Hayes.

Stefanos has got involved in the construction and site stages for the award-winning restoration of the Water Gardens in Hemel Hempstead, originally designed by Geoffrey Jellicoe. He has also worked on the planning and detail design for a mixed-use neighbourhood at the former GSK Site in Greenford, as well as the regeneration of Cator Park in Kidbrooke.

Stefanos is working on the technical design for South Quay Plaza, a residential-led development in Canary Wharf, as well as the redevelopment of Stephenson Street in West Ham.  Being on the BIM consultant role, he is responsible for developing landscape proposals and guiding the team in BIM implementation for both projects.
