Kidbrooke Village wins the Mayor’s Award for Sustainable & Environmental Planning

Kidbrooke Village, Cator Park has won the Mayor’s Award for Sustainable & Environmental Planning in the Building London Planning 2020.

HTA worked across the various phases of Kidbrooke Village from planning to delivery on site including the redesign of Cator Park in collaboration with the London Wildlife Trust. This new 8ha park at the centre of the development offers a legacy for the local community & London that brings people together to form a sense of identity.

The masterplan supports the network of Green Infrastructure beyond the site boundaries and provides flooding mitigation measures and assists with water management. This high quality biodiverse parkland provides a stunning setting for the development and is supplemented by a range of amenity spaces to include public squares, high quality streets, enclosed courtyards, podium landscapes and private gardens.
