RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2020: Shortlisting for HTA Planning in Two Categories

We are delighted to announce that one of our projects to deliver homes led by our planning team have been shortlisted as part of the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence 2020. Our planning team has also been shortlisted for Small Planning Consultancy of the Year.

The RTPI Awards are the most established and respected awards in the UK planning industry. Running for 40 years, they celebrate exceptional examples of planning and the contribution planners make to society.

Former St. Ann’s Road Police Station is a finalist in the category Excellence to Deliver Housing (Small Sites)

HTA Design worked with our in house design teams to deliver this scheme.

The refurbishment of St Ann’s police station and addition of contemporary  new buildings  provides the welcome refurbishment of the historic building, and the construction of new apartments and houses. The former police station is locally listed and the site sits within the St Ann’s Conservation Area. Extensive consultation with Haringey planners prior to the planning submission in December 2015 led to a unanimous approval in February 2016. The building provides a high quality scheme of a mix of 29 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed homes with 6 affordable homes for the Borough.
