While at HTA Claudia has been a key team member on several bid submissions both outside and inside of London and has assisted in winning work for the practice through their success. In her role she has been involved on residential projects at a range of stages and is currently working on a reserved matters application. Claudia is also currently in the process of completing her Part III at the University of Westminster to gain the title of Architect.

Prior to joining HTA Claudia worked in a one-off high end residential practice based in Fulham where she gained construction experience working on a new build house in South Kensington. She enjoyed a good level of responsibility and obtained detailing experience whilst in charge of several packages for the project, due for completion in late 2018.

Claudia undertook her architectural education at the University of Edinburgh where she completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, graduating with Merit. Her final degree project, based in Nicosia, investigates urban intervention to provide temporary housing for migrants and other displaced people that also engages with the wider context of the city.

Her Part I work experience was in Edinburgh at an architecture and design company where she led several projects at planning stage that ranged from house extensions to new build mews homes. She was also involved in several key feasibility projects for the practice within the city and surrounding countryside.

Claudia grew up in South Africa and has work experience on the ‘One & Only’ hotel development in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront.

Newhall, Harlow.

Newhall, is a new neighbourhood development on the eastern edge of Harlow, Essex. HTA are working in collaboration with BPTW to submit the last reserved matters applications to complete the second phase of the overall development with Countryside as the client. HTA have been tasked with designing the remaining urban strategy to create a logical new neighbourhood scheme that ties into the first completed phase and the overall emerging second phase. The scheme also aims to future-proof the development with regards to Harlow East, a nearby area earmarked for further residential development. HTA’s reserved matters application is for circa 300 new homes.

Claudia is a key member of the team currently working on Newhall and is set to continue working on Newhall through to the submission of its reserved matters applications.
