Keval is an Urban Designer at HTA Design, he joined the practice in March 2018. He studied architecture at the University of Mysore and AA School of Architecture London.
He has experience of working on large-scale housing, urban regeneration and architectural projects. He moves freely between the disciplines of architecture and urban design and brings skills in conceptual design, strategic urban thinking, place making and detailed design.
Prior to joining HTA Design, Keval worked for Jana Urban Space in Bangalore, where he was involved in developing the Lutiya Canal (Ecological Corridor) Masterplan in Sawai Madhopur, he also led the design and delivery of Shirur Park Road in Hubli and War Memorial Plaza in Bangalore as per Tender SURE (Specifications for Urban Utilities and Roads Execution) guidelines.
At HTA Design, Keval has been working on the delivery of the Winstanley and York Road Estate masterplan, north of Clapham Junction. This is a landscape focussed masterplan which redevelops York Gardens and the surrounding estates. The project aims at delivering private and affordable housing as well as a mix of community facilities. Within the urban design team, he has been involved in extensive urban analysis and creating diagrams towards the process and completion of the design and access statements and the design code.
