Megan is an Architectural Assistant Part 1 with 4 years experience in practice. She is currently undertaking an Apprenticeship Level 7 to become fully qualified while working full time at HTA. Her role involves supporting the project architect to deliver packages of information across all stages of work.
Prior to joining HTA, Megan’s role as a Design Coordinator at a Developer and Contractor provided her with essential on site experience and commercial awareness. She acquired a vital project running skill set that enabled her to have a broad understanding of the built environment. Here, she was able to utilise her earlier architectural experience to successfully coordinate complex design and technical solutions.
Megan’s former role as an Architect Assistant gave her considerable exposure and responsibility on varying residential schemes. At a small London practice, she successfully contributed to all architectural stages, managing planning through to technical design and delivery. She became accustomed to various design packages to communicate ideas, solutions and details.
Megan has been assisting on the Belgrave and Grosvenor Small Sites project in Croydon, delivering 105 units in a complex, urban setting. Her role has to date focused on producing a Tender Pack for 2 of the 3 Blocks that sit on the site, liaising with consultants and specialists to prepare Stage 3 level of information. Prior to this she worked on Sylvan Grove, a new build tower in Croydon’s regeneration area. A project in its early stages of design, Megan provided the team with key contextual and historical information that aided the schemes’ design development and narrative.
