Senior Chartered Landscape Architect (London)

HTA Design is seeking an experienced, talented and highly collaborative Senior Chartered Landscape Architect with design flair and ambition to join our busy London Studio.

Our landscape team is celebrating 20 years of practice. With over 40 professional staff, we have an exciting portfolio of projects from Crystal Palace Park to The Regent’s Park, Canary Wharf, Cator Park and Greenford Quay. We work both independently as well as an integrated part of HTA on a broad range of large scale, complex projects including park restoration, public realm, town centre regeneration, landscape led master-planning, housing, heritage and sustainable placemaking.

We are interested in hearing from individuals with excellent leadership, project delivery, studio and site experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, technical and graphic skills, and have a proven ability to run projects.

Candidate

To be considered, the successful candidate will have:

  • A master’s degree in landscape architecture or other equivalent level.
  • Chartered member of the Landscape Institute.
  • 8+ years post MA qualification experience.
  • Proven capability to take responsibility for the delivery of multiple large and /or complex projects across all RIBA work stages including understanding and application of UK landscape design standards and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively manage team/project resourcing, fees and client relationships.
  • Exceptional design skills, attention to detail and technical proficiency.
  • Actively contribute towards and / or produce winning bids.
  • Excellent people management and team leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor others effectively.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of using all MS Office applications and highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
