HTA Landscape scooped 2 major awards at the 2011 Landscape Institute Awards presentation ceremony. In what was their first year of submitting for the awards, HTA’s Stevenage Town Centre Gardens restoration project was announced Winner of the prestigious Heritage& Conservation Award whilst their Great Lines Heritage Park scheme was Winner of the Local Landscape Planning Award and Highly Commended in the Heritage & Conservation category.
The judges commented that both Stevenage and Great Lines were symbolic of the growing recognition of the importance of post war landscapes and praised HTA for their approach to both projects. James Lord, Director of Landscape Design, said “We are delighted that our work has been so well received. Recognition of this achievement from the Landscape Institute is highly significant and to have such success with our first ever submission to the Awards is beyond our expectations.”
